However it is well stated in our offers that the boarding is at 6 pm and check in done the next morning.
That is because daylight is needed for the check (for example visual check of sails). And in the Caribbean it gets dark at 6 pm. So a technical briefing is only possible the next morning.
Maybe you expected an evening check in, like in the Mediterranean, where in summer it gets dark later and that is possible... However in Caribbean most flights arrive in the afternoon /evening which is usually too late for a check in on Saturday (during daylight) and the clients leave the boats on check out day only at 10 pm (not 8/9 am like its common in the Med)
Also night sailing is forbidden so they could have not left the same evening after 6pm boarding.
